Revolution for Dogs is a topical medication that provides broad coverage against parasites in one simple, monthly application. It protects dogs from fleas, American dog ticks, ear mites, and canine sarcoptic mange. Unlike some other brands, Revolution does not require gloves to apply, or separation time after application. Just wash your hands after you apply it.

What are the possible side effects of Revolution for Dogs?

The most common side effects include hair loss at the site of application with or without inflammation (redness, flaking) and gastrointestinal upset. Other side effects reported in cats and dogs include vomiting, diarrhea with or without blood, anorexia (decreased appetite), lethargy (sluggishness), salivation, rapid breathing, pruritus (itching), urticaria (welts, hives), erythema (skin redness), ataxia (incoordination), fever and rare instances of death. There have also been rare reports of seizures in dogs. If you have additional questions about possible side effects, talk to your veterinarian.
